Victorian Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring with Subtle Foliate Shoulders

Period and info: late / post-Victorian; c. late 1800s - early 1900s; European origin; if you look closely at the design in the upper shoulders, you'll see a very subtle twin-leaf and stem pattern, which essentially turns the center cluster into a giant diamond flower. It's suuuuuuper subtle, and equally pretty. 

Materials: 18K gold (stamped “18CT”); platinum central prongs

Dimensions: the top measures approx. 12.00 mm in diameter; the ring stands 5.30 mm tall above the finger

     Center: .50 - .55 carat (est.) Old Mine Cut diamond w/approx. F-G color and I1 clarity
